Locomotive Cab Ride
Join our engineer in the cab of the locomotive for a unique and memorable experience witnessing the railroad from the Engineer's perspective. *Proper clothing and personal protective equipment is required.

Boarding begins 20 minutes prior to each departure.
Passengers age 2 and younger ride for FREE on lap of ticket-holding adult. Please reserve a FREE "Lap Rider" ticket.
There are two spaces for quests to ride in the cab of the locomotive. Â Cab riders must be age 18+ and must sign a liability/injury waiver PRIOR TO being escorted to the cab of the locomotive. Â Cab riders age 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is also required to purchase a cab ride ticket.
***All participants must have appropriate attire, and personal protection. Including, a work shirt, long work pants, boots, safety glasses and a high-visibility organ, green, or yellow outer garment over the torso.  Ear plugs  will be provided for hearing protection.  ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN AN INJURY WAIVER and be capable of climbing, unassisted, up and down extremely steep steps onto and off of the locomotive.

Â Due to the age and maintenance requirements of our equipment, the Ohio River Scenic Railway reserves the right to substitute passenger equipment and seating options as may be required to accommodate all ticketed passengers.
